Canada approved 7,235 work permits under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) in February 2022. Foreign workers from Mexico received the most work permits, 2,520 (34.8%), followed by Guatemala and the Philippines with 980 (13.5%) and 680 (9.4%) work permits, respectively.

6. South Korea – 165 (2.3%)

10. Vietnam – 90 (1.2%)

As for Turkey, in February IRCC issued 15 work permits for Turkish citizens under the TFVP. In total, Canada has approved 25 (0.2%) TFWP work permits for foreign Turkish citizens.
